Coming from the news and photojournalism worlds, Gregory McClatchy began his career in entertainment marketing as a producer and editor. He is the owner and creator of Motor Entertainment, a marketing and creative advertising company, which has worked with international brands such as The Walt Disney Company, Nickelodeon, Paramount, 20th Century Fox, MGM, Sony, and others. He directed two seasons of Sit Down Comedy with David Steinberg (Viacom/TV Land), which featured the comedy legend interviewing entertainment icons like Larry David, Mike Myers, George Lopez, Jon Lovitz, and Martin Short, among many others. He also directed the family feature film Soccer Mom and the horror classic Vampire at Midnight and co-directed the TV movie A Place Like No Other. He also produced the film Ticket Out, starring Ray Liotta, for Lifetime and Bert Stern: Original Madman, a theatrical documentary about influential photographer Bert Stern. In addition to his work in film, McClatchy has directed and edited national commercials for international companies and entities, including RCA Corporation and the University of Southern California, and has produced major motion picture advertising campaigns.
